Is it silly to have 2 middle names? Advice? Help!!?

We are naming our daughter Hannah but are in disagreement about the middle name. Our choices are Brooke and Elise. We thought to resolve the issue we would chose

or


Hannah Elise Brooke





Do you think it sounds silly to have 2 middle names? Which way is better and yes the names do flow nice with our last.


Or do you think we should just chose one and which one?Is it silly to have 2 middle names? Advice? Help!!?
No, it's not silly. Tons of people have two middle names. It is a regular part of some cultures outside of the US as a matter of fact.Is it silly to have 2 middle names? Advice? Help!!?
first of all, i can't really decide for you.


but, having two middle names isn't silly at all.


it makes the kid unique, and your kid will end up liking that she is the only one in her class that has two middle names.


also, no one is going to make fun of her becuase she has two middle names. when i was a kid, i wanted two middle names too!


but now as an adult, not so much.


the good thing is that she can always drop one of them, having two gives her the liberty of choosing which to keep and which to drop!





personally, if i had to choose between the two, i would choose hannah elise brooke.





the only problem is that hannah brooke elise sounds like 'hannah BROKE elise'; that's the factor you should be worrying about, not the two middle names factor.
The original reason people had 2 middle names is because when you recieve the sacrament of confirmation in the Catholic Church you recieve a second middle name.





Lots of people have given into this fad and have 2 middle names.


There are also people with two first names Anne-Maire etc.. so its not really silly...





Maybe wait until she is born and see what suits her? Wait a little while.. if you can't decide then go with both middle names
I think either way is beautiful, one way might sound better depending on the last name (DO NOT SHARE!). In any case, don't feel silly about what you want to name your child. I mean, you're not naming her Hannah Silly String, that would be silly. It's 100% up to you and the father whether 2 middle names are needed and don't let anyone make you second guess yourself! :)
there is a baby out there with like 42 middle names because her parents named her after some wrestlers so go for it i think brooke elise is the best to i have a pretty weird name no one can get it right charissa (shereesuh) leighann (leeanne) white so yea those are some prety cool names too one of my friendss name is brooke
i personally really like 2 middle names.. you'll have alot of ppl that answer that don't.. i have 2.. Kay-Lynn.. it's sort of one.. but i consider it 2.. I also want to give my children 2 middle names.. so if you like it.. do it..

That is all up to you I dont think it is silly our little boy is going to have two middle names one after my grandfather who passed away while I was pregnant and then my fiance also really wanted part of his family in the name so our little one is going to have two. I like the second way better.

My mom has two first names (Ann Louise)..that may be a little different but alot of people have two middle names..i mean they may not use them but its on their birth certificate.

My husbands name is Kevin Michael Thomas....its a mouthful when I'm mad but I like it and so does he. I also had a friend in high school that had no middle name, that one was stranger.
i think that hannah elise sounds very lovely and it flows, but i also think that the two middle names also sound good. as long as you like it that is all that matters. personally i like hannah elise though!
you should really name your child anyway you want. Having two middle names only makes you or any other person unique in thier own special way. So just for a thought, how about Hannah Elise Brooke, OR Hannah Grace? That sounds cute too! lol
I don't think its silly. Name them whatever you want, its your baby! Family history really puts a pressure on you to give ';dad's, grandpa's, great uncle etc:'; So, Do what YOU want.

I don't think it is silly I wanted to give my daughter two middle names but hubby voted against it. ALso I know lots of people with 3 middle names.

Some people have lots of middle names! I think Hannah Brooke Elise is a nice name, it has a certain ring to it.
I don't think they sound good together but I do like Hannah Elise.
