Can someone please help me with advice?

Basically, I quit without notice on this company when they violated a written agreement for not giving me a raise, and rather were intending to increase two other people's salaries - verbally requested.

I requested for a proper letter of reference, and they said they already gave me a standard LOR (which doesn't list my personality). I asked them again and now they've blocked my email address from their system.

I don't know what to do. I'm so confused and depresed now. Someone please advise me.Can someone please help me with advice?
Just call your supervisor on the phone and ask him or her. Who knows, maybe they accidentally blocked your email. Or better yet, go down and speak to them in person. It's much harder to ignore someone when they're standing right in front of you! That way at least you'll have your answer on whether or not they'll be a positive reference. Can someone please help me with advice?
The only thing the company legally needs to give you is your final paycheck, and your W-2 when it's ready. They are under no obligation to give you a LOR or anything else.

If you got a general LOR, and it's positive, then be happy. That's better than 99% of all other quit-without-notice employees ever get from their former employers.
My understanding is that legally they only have to give you the standard letter of reference AND that if there are sour grapes and they give more if someone calls for the reference you could legally go back on them for defamation of you. I think all you're going to get from them is that general letter.

I would look to your direct supervisor or a co-worker for a further letter of reference if you want to keep pursuing.
