Job advice question please help thanks?

I have been appyling for jobs like crazy because I was laud off in March. I have been calling places back, but all they keep doing is giving me the runaround and telling me to call back or that they are not hiring. What can I do?Job advice question please help thanks?

Three things.....focus. do not fill out 20 applications and throw them all in. Pick 3 places, take your time on the application, put in the effort to customize your resume to it.....Hand the resume to the decision maker, if you cant then come back another time until you can.....Second, meet them in person.....a phone call will never get you a job...a phone call says....too lazy to make the trip...when you do get a chance to meet them in person...put on a tie or dress appropriately if you are a female this goes for handing in the ap and picking up the ap as well....NEVER apply online....You will never get a job online unless you are a professional....They are looking for that extra step....I see guys show up in t shirts and wonder why they dont get hired....it is all about making EXTRA effort.....that puts you in with about 5 people rather than minimal effort where you are one of 100.
i know its sucks i still havent found a job either. dont give up keep going on interviews. i sure hope someone hires us soon.
