Buying PS3, I need your help and advice?

Hi there, i'm planning to buy a PS3 soon and i want to know which one of these PS3's can play PS2 games: 80gb PS3, 120gb PS3 Slim,160gb PS3 package (the one with uncharted) or none of these can play PS2 games?





May you also give your advice on all 3 PS3's. That would be very appreciated.

try to track down the old Metal Gear bundle and make sure it says backward compatibility google around youll find it i got the uncharted bundle once you start playn new games you probably wont go back to many PS2 gamesBuying PS3, I need your help and advice?
The only ps3 that plays ps2 games is the 4 USB slot ps3. It might be hard to get one of these because they are no longing being made and it would be pretty rare to find one in any store. Your best bet would be to go on eBay but I don't trust eBay people enough to buy something that expensive. But I read in a blog I think it was that there is a rumor that Sony could make a downloadable software that can be used to play ps2 games but again that's just a rumor although it's possible. If I were you I would just get the slim since it comes with uncharted because it's so amazing

mine does its the 60gb fat ps3


it is really hard to find one that plays ps2 games if you buy it new


you can get a used 1 pretty easy


if i had 2 buy 1 right now i would get the 160gb with uncharted because the fat ps3s r better and it has more memory and comes with uncharted
the only ps3 games that can play ps2 games are not for sale anymore. they are the 40gigs and 60 gigs. get the ps3 slim it costs less then the rest
here is what i would do, get a 20gig 4 usb ports or it wont play ps2 games, and just upgrade the hard drive
.... Why buy a ps3 if all you want to do is play ps2 games?
i heard ps2 games dont work on da slim but im not sure
