Your primary concern is going to be to get a work visa. You cannot just ';move '; there and get a job...as they cannot move to the U.S. and work.. All countries require foreign workers to qualify for work visas to protect their job market for their own citizens. Work visas are very hard to get...esp. in Eurpoe, as all other European citizens are ahead of Americans. You must have a highy needed skill and find an employer FIRST. If you work for an Americn company that can transfer you there , that is your best chance. You will find the cost of living is higher in the U.K. See site below to read about work visa requirements .Concidering moving from the us to the uk. i need all the help i can get. any advice or information?
you have to have a visa, to live and work there......or you can only stay 3 months out of the states
well if you are wanting to work and live here i think you need a visa. The accommodation in south yorkshire is really good. Things are not expensive around here and it has a lot of country side yet still has big cities such as sheffield. Dont go london though it is rough, expensive and not very safe. Yeah it has the queen and all that but its not a very nice place to live :)
