I really need everyones help and advice on this life altering decision?

I've hit 30 and realised that my life is going nowhere fast, I'm not really upset about that. The real problem is that, although I'm not anti social, I really feel like retiring from life and getting away from the ignorance is see in society.

Does anywhere have any suggestions where I should go or what I should do?

Sensible answers only please and nothing involving religion as I am an atheist.I really need everyones help and advice on this life altering decision?
A lot of people experience the disconnect. I spend a lot of time by and with myself. This is a chosen thing with me. I just do not find other people's company all that interesting. I also enjoy learning new things and teaching myself how to do new things. When I teach myself, I learn very fast and remember it a long time. I have no trouble with your athiesm, as it strikes me as rather practical and down to earth and logical, even. In answer to your question, I would strongly urge you to keep reinventing yourself by doing the things which appeal to you and if you happen to meet or connect with others along the way, then that is just fine, and everybody gains. I meet new people in restaurants, but it is usually nothing too in-depth. It is just that feeling of enjoying being with others while I dine. Now and then I meet a bright bulb and have a decent conversation. There are lots of intelligent people ';out there,'; and I am sure you will find them just like we all do. It sort of shines through when they open their mouths. You can see it in a person's eyes, too.I really need everyones help and advice on this life altering decision?
In pulling back from society, you will eventually find what you truly want to do next. Thank you for the points. Relax. - Chris!

You can go live in the caribbean or somewhere quiet or the mountains. Or anywhere you can have some fresh air with gardens and green tress. I understand what you mean and i have that problem sometimes. Many people can just be so rude for no reason...
Life sucks...and then you die!
Lots of people go 'haywire' when they reach 30. They think about all the things they haven't achieved etc., etc. You are still young and being 30 isn't the end of the world. Go trekking, get a hobby, go abroad. Tell everyone you're 28! Get a life!
You are feeling the beginnings of mid life crisis...That's all.
I know how you feel. It's like ';stop the planet,I want to get off';.Why don't you try becoming more pro active and find a cause you are passionate about and get stuck in doing something satisfying and rewarding.I felt just like you and I decided to foster kids.10 years later i am still doing it.It is a good platform for challenging ignorance and i no longer feel the frustration you are feeling.Other than that you could travel and combine it with working for a charity or organisation in any Field or subject.Go with your heart and you instincts, push your personal boundaries and have fun.
I found myself in a similar situation a few years back and started studying permaculture. It is so exciting that I have trouble falling asleep at night. I would recommend finding something that you are passionate about to study, not neccesarily in a school setting.
i feel like living in the middle of nowhere,no neighbours for miles
Why did you HIT thirty.

I am about to HIT 60.

What do you suggest?

What ever ' it' is I suspect I may have done 'it' is as I have always believed what I was taught as a child that the 'world was my oyster'

and

where is it written that you must 'socialise with idiots'?

I don't think so somehow.

Save your power hon.
Move to SF, California. You did say get away from the ignorance?

If you can, volunteer with a charity that serves a cause you really believe in.

Good luck :)
go on a trip abroad volunteering to help children or poor communities in developing countries, most just need your time- they wont pay you but will give you a free trip over there and free accomadation.
Maybe you're depressed and you need to see a therapist or something. There are communes out there where you can live with others and be away from society. Just don't go all ';Uni-bomber'; or anything!
Life can be a hard struggle mate. You just have to know what to look for. How are you family members? Have you spoken to them about your worries? You can e-mail me anytime and we'll throw some issues back and forth. Stay off booze if it makes you depressed too.
Perhaps you do just need a change of scenery. Either go away for a vacation, or if you can, move somewhere that is different from where you are now.

Caravan towing - help advice please?

We are relative newcomers to the Caravan world and have just bought our second van - a new Hobby 540UK with a Winteroff hitch, my question is about the hitch and towing.

The Winteroff hitch is standard and is very easy to use. However when towing the hitch always moves from a vertical position to an angle, about 15-20% off vertical.

Can anyone explain why? is it bcause it not greased? I never had this problem with my old van; should I be concerned at all?

So caravanners of Europe any support would be much appreciated

Thanks MCaravan towing - help advice please?
You are not experiencing a problem. When the hitch is locked in place its like a ball and socket joint and will move relative to each other. There are limits on the movement, so 15 to 20 degrees movement is OK. The ball and socket should be lightly greased to aid movement. Some hitches move, some don't. Make sure the break away cable is attached to the tow-bar (not round the ball), this will give you extra confidence and security. As for the caravan knockers..... just ignore them most of them couldn't drive one let alone reverse one..................AllanCaravan towing - help advice please?
I agree with Adam
Not an answer I'm afraid but possibly a little more info about the problem, or is it a problem? I have the same thing with my rather elderly Eldis Mistral. It never happened when I was using a Space Cruiser to tow it but ever since I changed to a Previa it happens all the time.
I've seen this happen quite a few times, and I don't think it matters, as long as it's secure. Obviously, it has to rotate, and if it's free to do so it must be OK.

It should be greased, though, so that might be the cause. Give it a dollop of grease and see if it still happens.
Check the v frame on van

for alignment, and yes grease the

tow ball, and Allan you don't

drive a caravan you tow it,

x hgv class 1 driver..
It needs to be greased, you should not be towing without a greased towball.

It doesn't sound like a problem, so it's not something worth worrying about. If at any point it stops doing that, you should start worrying about the brakes on the caravan as the lubrication that allows what you are experiencing to happen also applies the caravan brakes as you slow down.

I have a really big issue. Can anyone give me advice or some help?

Okay, so in the summer, myself and my mom found this arts program. I started taking acting and singing lessons but recently I've been finding it hard to juggle school and that. I love the acting but am not too big on the singing. I want to quit the singing, but my mom won't let me. My grades are dropping, I'm ending up really tired at school and I'm beginning to hate what I use to love to do.

Can anyone give me some advice or help on the subject? :'(I have a really big issue. Can anyone give me advice or some help?
tell your mom how you really feel about the singing lessons.im pretty sure once you both talk it out she will understand.I have a really big issue. Can anyone give me advice or some help?
slow down with it then. you cannot do everything and be happy. maybe have your conselor talk to your mom about it. he/she might be able to convince your mom that you are slacking at school which is really important!!

how old are you? a junior or senior? then you need to tell your mom to back off. stop going to those lessons. you need to have some free time.

youngers? then talk to your conselor. explain to them your situation. bring your mom in to talk to them with you. im sure that your mom will back down a little bit when around another adult.
What you need to realize is that singiing and acting is harder than it lokks, perhaps it is a dream come true but it also has its cons as well. I think that you need to not give up but if you feel it is stressing you out quit.
talk to your mom about how you're always tired. like how ur grades are dropping, school's more important that the extra classes. your mom will probably understand if you talk to her about it

My sister has that and was told to swim or lay on her stomach, clasp her hands behind her head and lift up her upper torso. It is painful but it has helped her. Also she does some exersises where you put her back up against the walk and go up and down, hurts but after a few weeks she was a bit straighter.

Help me with career advice please?

I want to be an Architect, but many people constantly telling me that it is a difficult career choice and the money is very low. I heard that it takes 5 years B.Arch+ 3 masters+1 year doctrine and in 3 years you can get your license. Why they are getting paid so low? Please tell me how much money I can expect as an Architect? If there any Architects or people who know??

I don't want to design people's houses or any buildings and live in apartment whole my life! Thank You.Help me with career advice please?
Use the salary calculator in hotjobs. It looks like with a bachelors, you can make about $40k-70k depending on experience. I used Minneapolis because it is has a pretty midrange economy. So, it would also depend on where you live. You can also do a search for jobs and see what they are really offering. Doesn't appear to be as much as I would have guessed!Help me with career advice please?
hey my friends dad and my uncle are architecs and they do not get a low pay. but also not as high. but if you like what you are doing you can have your own business of designing and get more money. You can have your own card website location etc....... and you will be doing something your interested in. GOOD LUCK! : )
Try civil engineering instead. You only need a bachelors (4 year), + 4 years on the job experience, and salary in Ontario Canada averages $50 000 for recent grads in Engineering, and you'll be doing similar work.
