Need help and advice with setting up wireless router.?

Hey,


i have tiscali broadband internet, a dell computer with windows xp home edition internet. The router i'm trying to connect is ';802.11g ADSL modem with wireless router';.


Can anyone see any problems with compatability between the computer, router and internet? Because i thought this would be a simple task but it's not as easy as i thought.

c ur xp support wireless or not.if ur comp doesn't hav wireless ability than u probably need to get a wireless usb.good luck.Need help and advice with setting up wireless router.?
It will work. You just have to set up the router. If you haven't got a manual for the router then go to the manufacturer's website and download one.





Also look on the Web for help in setting up a wireless router. Make sure you put security on the router, WPA is good.





You will need a wireless card or a wireless USB dongle for your computer. This will come with software to install. And a manual of how to make it work.
