Unless you are subject to a collective barganing agreement, the state of SC has no involvement in how many hours you work in what time period as long as you are (18) and paid overtime for all hours over 40.In South Carolina Can A Employer Work You 10 days straight?I need some Labor Law Advice!HELP?
Google SC labor laws to see if this is OK. I think as long as they pay overtime for anything over 40 hours a week it is legal. You should be able to refuse extreme overtime, but some would be welcome at time and a half.
Probably. But s/he might be doing a resume on the 11th day.
If you are getting burned out or very tired and endangering others you might need to quit. But I'm not sure the unemployment office would be sympathetic.
