Found tick on dog, need help or advice?

Found a tick on my dog. I removed it. Should I be watching for any side effects? What side effects? Found tick on dog, need help or advice?
There will be a small bump for a few days after removal of a tick. Hopefully, you got the head out as well, because leaving it in can cause a problem. If you notice any redness or swelling over the next few days, the head was probably left in the dog and you need to see a Vet.

A good preventative medicine is the best answer and the vet can advise you on this as well. Should your dog pick up another tick, one great home remedy is to apply a small glob of Vaseline on the tick. This quite literally smothers the tick and it will back-out, (head included) and you can dispose of it. Bath you dog in a good flea and tick shampoo at least once a month.

Check every square inch of your dog carefully. When you find one tick, it is a good bet that your dog has more than just one. Good luck.Found tick on dog, need help or advice?
Depending on the size (indicating the length of time the tick was on your dog) watch for extreme tiredness, and nausea things of that sort in your dog. It also depends on the kind of tick it was if you can provide that information.
