I dont know what to do :S will this pass? i feel so depressed! Can anybody please give me some help or advice?
The good news is, you're pregnant. The bad news is, you will probably feel sick for at least the first trimester. Morning sickness can happen throughout the day, and it can last throughout your pregnancy, so follow these steps to ease the nausea.
Try not to let yourself get hungry; an empty stomach can increase nausea.
Keep a supply of Saltine crackers handy. Have some in the morning before you get out of bed to settle your stomach.
Avoid high-fat foods - especially fried foods - and stay away from spicy and acidic foods.
Eat foods high in B vitamins, which decrease nausea.
Add a bit of ginger to your diet in the form of ginger ale, ginger tea or gingersnaps. Or use ginger in your recipes.
Experiment with natural remedies such as papaya enzyme, vitamin B-6 or acupressure wristbands.
Drink plenty of water between meals. Try sparkling water with a slice of lemon.
Take your prenatal vitamins with food. Your nausea will increase if you take them on an empty stomach.
Avoid taking iron supplements in the first trimester unless you are anemic. Iron can be hard on your stomach.
Utilize the fleeting moments when you feel OK to eat healthful foods and get a little exercise.
Take care mommy =) Hopefully it will pass soon...mine ended around 15 weeks but every is different..I followed these tips and it really helped...hope this helps you hun, congrats =)Can anybody please give me some help or advice?
You should start feeling better in the coming weeks. Normally the second trimester brings a ton of relief with it! You will have more energy, less nausea, better appetite etc.
If you feel the sickness is taking over life and you really are having a hard time eating, you should speak to your doctor. They can prescribe anti-nausea pills so you can function.
Sickness throughout an entire pregnancy (Hypermesis Gravidarum-not sure I spelled the second part correctly) is pretty rare but does happen.
Mention all of this to your doctor, they can help you out!
It will take over your life, because you are going through a change. You are tired because you are not eating healthy. And if you hardly eat anything now it will cause all those symptoms. You really need to take care of yourself if you don't want an unhealthy baby, then your life will even be more taken over.
Get up and get some sunshine and eat some vegetable soup with crackers. You don't have to eat a lot . But you must eat something if you want this feeling to pass.
Get use to not seeing your friends, at least until the baby is born.
I think this will pass because your body will start to crave all sorts of things. It ( your Body ) will try to help you have a healthy baby. It also wants and needs you to be healthy. Take a warm bath, take a long walk. Go to the library and get a good book. Relax and pamper yourself. Go to the movies with your friends. Do anything to break this cycle. You may not feel like it but force yourself. Good Luck.
Morning sickness is horrible, but it means you are producing plenty of growth hormone for the baby and that is a good sign. Being pregnant will affect your energy levels so resting is not a bad thing. It is a mum's job to worry, comes with the job description
I used to have a plain biscuit before I got up (left it on my bedside before I went to bed) and anything with ginger in it helped me
It will pass and it is rare for morning sickness to cause problems Just watch your liquid intake so you don't dehydrate.
Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.
For most women morning sickness and tiredness peaks around 8-12 weeks, meaning that normally you will be feeling a whole lot better soon. Yes there are gals who are sick throughout pregnancy, but that's only a few - you should start to feel better next week, including a return of energy.
sickness does tend to end after the first trimester, so fingers crossed any time soon this should start to ease up!
And i know it must be difficult ( i'm speaking from experience here) but you do need to try and keep eating, even though it is hard and makes you feel appauling the baby will lack in the goodness it needs if you are just getting rid of everything in your body!
try eating little and often, and biscuits and toast seem to be ok as they are dry and also they are not as horrible to bring back up.
all the best and i hope you start to feel better soon x
Yes it is normal and it will pass hopefully within the next few weeks. Right aroundthe start of your second trimester sickness tends to wear off so you should be fine, maybe give your Dr. a ring and see what they say just to be safe. Good Luck :)
If you are that sick your doctor should be able to give you somehting to help ease the sickness. Give a call to the doctor or talk to her/him at your next appointment. I hope it all works out for you. Good Luck!
You're almost there, hang on for a few more days, a week maybe and hopefully you'll feel better soon. I wasn't sick at all, just very mild nausea. The baby should move up soon and you'll feel better after. Good luck!
anything with ginger in is good....try not to get depressed hold on to the thought of what this is all for and how worth it it will be when you hold your baby!
they told us to eat something salty before you even get outta bed stay away from greasy foods eat alot of fruit and veggies and stay away from meats as much as possible and drink clear fluids ginger ale is the best or sprite best of luck
